About Community Bible Chapel

As a diverse family of believers, we value studying the Scriptures together. Like every family, we see the world through a particular lens—and for us, that lens is the life, teaching, and saving work of Jesus Christ. Our shared values and beliefs lead us to actively extend the Kingdom of God in our neighborhoods and around the world.

MISSIONS

At Community Bible Chapel, we are passionate about generous giving. As part of that passion we have committed ourselves to give 20% of our income to missions and other ministries outside of our congregation.

Guided by the example of Jesus, we joyfully support local outreach, partner with missions both near and far, and invest in initiatives that bring hope, healing, and the good news of God’s grace to our communities and around the world.

Your generosity makes a real difference as together we extend God’s love and advance His Kingdom in practical, life-changing ways.

Listed below are the ministries that we support on a monthly basis.

  • Sarasota Medical Pregnancy Center
  • Zions Hope

Zion’s Hope is a Bible-centered evangelical ministry dedicated to proclaiming salvation through Jesus the Messiah to both Jewish and Gentile people worldwide.

With a special heart for the Jewish people and the nation of Israel, they share the Gospel graciously, provide solid biblical teaching on prophecy and God’s end-time plan, and offer practical outreach, missions trips, Holy Land tours, and resources that equip believers to understand Scripture more deeply and live with hope in these times.

Everything they do flows from a passion for God, His people, and His redemptive plan for the world demonstrating the love of Christ while pointing people to Him as the true hope of Zion.

  • Love Serves
  • The Gideons International

We value sincere worship that honors God, is led by the Holy Spirit, and draws us closer to Him.

  • Brethren In Christ

The Brethren in Christ is a family of churches with deep roots in the Anabaptist tradition. Emerging in the late 1700s in Pennsylvania among believers influenced by both Anabaptist and Pietist revivals, we are shaped by a rich blend of historic Christian streams—particularly Anabaptism, Pietism, Wesleyanism, and evangelical faith.

At our core, we are committed to following Jesus wholeheartedly. We emphasize a personal, heartfelt relationship with Christ, holy living, peacemaking, community discernment of Scripture, and a simple obedience that extends God’s love and justice into the world. Practices such as believer’s baptism, the Lord’s Supper, and foot washing reflect our desire to live out the teachings of Jesus together as a reconciled and reconciling people.

  • Samaritan's Purse

Samaritan's Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization that provides both spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, they have brought practical help—such as emergency relief after disasters, food, medicine, shelter, and community development—to victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine in more than 100 countries.

Everything they do is done in the name of Jesus Christ, with the goal of demonstrating God’s love and sharing the hope of the Gospel.
